About The Yogi Studio
Meet Emily Hoballah - Founder
Hey yogis! I'm so happy you've found your way here!
Let's start a yoga journey together! But first, let me tell you a little about myself and the Yogi Studio concept...
The Yogi Studio Concept
Stress may be one of the greatest afflictions of mental and physical health of our time.
The Yogi Studio is a space where all are welcome to come and let go of the toxic stress that negatively impacts the mind and body. Here, we use proven techniques such as yoga, mindfulness, breath work, meditation and yoga nidra to restore the body and mind to a state of calm relaxation, reestablish balance, and become perpetuators of good health in our own daily lives.
The goal of The Yogi Studio is to bring greater mental, physical and emotional well-being to an over-stressed world.
“Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.”
— Wayne W. Dyer
About Emily
“As a yoga teacher, I aim to guide my students from a place of love and compassion. I believe that with each individual I can help heal, I’m helping to heal the world and make it a better home to us all.”
Emily began practicing yoga in 2010 while living in the US and has enjoyed practicing in studios across North America and Europe. She became a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher in France in 2020, and is also certified in Mindful Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Hot Bikram-Style Yoga. “It’s amazing how Mindful awareness can transform a yoga practice into something even deeper and more holistic, and then spill over into our daily lives, creating a ripple effect of awareness, wonderment and contentment in all things.”
Emily first discovered yoga at the age of 24 when she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that turned her life upside down. “I couldn’t access the medications I needed to treat the illness, so I began searching for natural treatments and stress management techniques to calm the symptoms… which landed me in a Bikram studio! This was my very first encounter with yoga.
In my first class, I remember feeling an unexpected relief from the pain that had plagued my life, and I suddenly felt my stress and worry replaced with a

gentle sense of calm. From that first experience, I was convinced that yoga would be the key to healing for me.”
As Emily continued to expand my yoga practice into the other types of yoga and meditation, she became eager for more knowledge. She decided to become certified so that she could learn what made these postures and breathing exercises so healing, and how to perform them properly to get the maximum benefits from her practice in the safest way possible.
She later discovered the transformative powers of Mindfulness, not only for stress reduction, but also for overall quality of life. “It has altered the way I respond to the world around me and manage stressful situations. It empowers me to slow down and appreciate the moment-by-moment unfolding of my life. I feel it’s important to help others discover that life is lived fully through present-moment awareness.
I am convinced that yoga can be the key to health and healing for so many others out there who are also struggling with illness, stress, and pain, be it physical, mental or emotional. And that’s why I’m a yoga teacher.”
